About the Position
HOLY is scaling fast: new product lines, expanding retail presence, and a growing network of co-manufacturers and suppliers across Europe. As we unlock our next growth phase, maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality, and compliance is non-negotiable — and that's where you come in.
As a Senior Quality Manager, you'll be the guardian of quality across our entire portfolio: powders, bottles, merchandise, and new launches. You'll proactively manage co-manufacturers and suppliers, define and continuously improve our quality standards, and ensure seamless compliance across D2C and retail channels in a fast-moving, multi-SKU environment.
If you're passionate about building bulletproof quality systems and thrive in high-growth, operationally complex settings, this role is for you.
Co-Man & Supplier Management
- Define and roll out monitoring processes (incl. sampling plans) to verify ongoing conformity.
- Lead regular CMO visits to strengthen collaboration, ensure standards are followed, and resolve recurring issues early.
- Align on specs, packaging standards, and quality requirements; escalate and close deviations with structured follow-up.
- Drive root cause analysis and CAPAs for defects/deviations and track supplier performance over time.
Incoming Quality / Batch Release
- Ensure quality checks are performed for powders, bottles, shakers, and merch based on defined criteria.
- Flag and document deviations (labeling, packaging, formulation, appearance) and coordinate resolution with Ops/Logistics/Warehouse.
- Streamline batch release decisions and ensure clear acceptance/rejection criteria and documentation.
Documentation, Audits & Compliance Systems
- Build/maintain processes and procedures supporting audits, claims handling, and compliance documentation.
- Maintain traceability across components and finished goods, ensuring production lots can be tracked end-to-end.
- Ensure the business is audit-ready via consistent records, controlled documents, and clear QA ownership.
Crisis, Traceability, Recall & Issue Management
- Develop and maintain recall and crisis management processes, including clear internal workflows and decision trees.
- Lead investigations into complaints/issues (CS, retail, internal findings), coordinate stakeholders, and implement preventive actions.
- Track recurring problems and propose improvements to specs, processes, and supplier controls.
New Product Development
- Set QA and food safety requirements for new SKUs/formats and ensure readiness before launch.
- Coordinate test runs and quality sign-off, including supplier/co-packer readiness checklists.
- Ensure product and process changes are assessed for risk and properly documented.
Labeling & Regulatory Compliance
- Verify that product labels, website content, and marketing materials align with legal requirements and approved specifications.
- Work with internal teams to correct gaps quickly and prevent recurrence through better review processes.
