About the Position

As a Marketing Analyst at HOLY, you'll be the analytical backbone of our marketing and growth teams. Your mission: Turn data into decisions by delivering accurate forecasts, actionable insights, and performance analysis that fuel HOLY's commercial engine.

Responsibilities:

Sales Forecasting & Budget Tracking

  • Own weekly revenue forecasts and maintain our driver-based forecasting model to keep expectations aligned with reality.
  • Track marketing spend and budget pacing, ensuring optimal allocation across channels and campaigns.
  • Partner with Finance and Growth teams to optimize HOLY's commercial planning and resource allocation.

Ad-hoc Analytics & Campaign Performance Insights

  • Deliver rapid-response analysis for marketing teams, including campaign debriefs, performance deep dives, and channel troubleshooting.
  • Build and maintain dashboards that empower teams to make faster, smarter decisions
  • Turn complex data into clear, actionable recommendations that drive ROI and customer acquisition efficiency.

Incrementality & Marketing Channel Analytics

  • Design and execute incrementality tests to measure true marketing effectiveness across channels.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to improve marketing ROI and customer acquisition strategy.
  • Analyze channel performance, identify optimization opportunities, and support strategic decision-making.

Order Volume Forecasting

  • Build and maintain short-term demand forecasts that factor in promotional impact and offering changes.
  • Model campaign volume scenarios to support inventory planning and fulfillment operations.
  • Help optimize resource allocation across the business by connecting marketing activity to operational needs.

Cross-Functional Operating Cadence

  • Prepare weekly and monthly performance meetings with clear, compelling analysis that supports management decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, CRM, Finance, E-Commerce, and Operations teams.
  • Proactively flag risks, spot opportunities, and drive follow-through on your recommendations.

About You

  • Customer and business intuition: Connecting data to HOLY's product, customer behavior, and business model comes naturally, supported by 2–4 years of hands-on experience in analytics, BI, or data science (ideally in e-commerce, D2C, or consumer goods).
  • Analytical rigor meets speed: A strong 80/20 mindset helps you balance depth and pace, delivering fast and reliable analysis without unnecessary complexity. You have a proven ability to build forecasting models, run incrementality testing, and turn performance data into actionable insights.
  • Technical proficiency: Proficiency in SQL and advanced spreadsheet modeling (Google Sheets or Excel) is expected, along with experience in BI tools like Metabase, Looker, or Tableau. Bonus points for Python or R.
  • Clear communicator: Complex insights are translated into crisp, compelling stories for different audiences and stakeholders. Fluency in English is required.
  • Ownership mindset: A proactive approach to spotting issues, flagging them early, and driving recommendations through to action is essential. You do not wait to be asked twice.

The Process

As we are experiencing rapid growth and have ambitious plans, the optimal start date for the position is today. Nonetheless, we are prepared to patiently await the arrival of the ideal candidate, recognizing that quality ultimately yields the best results.

  1. Getting to know you: You will have a 30 minute screening interview with Eric (Talent Acquisition Manager), where we will talk to you more about HOLY and the position and see if our expectations match.
  2. Hiring Manager interview with Martijn: Diving deeper into some more technical topics and your experience with Martijn our Sr. Business Operations & Analytics, our Sr. Talent Development Manager.
  3. Case study & on-site interview: As soon as you have successfully completed the first interviews, you will receive a case study. In a second meeting at our office, the team will discuss your case study with you and answer questions about our workspace, the HOLY Temple.
  4. Founders Interview: As a strong cultural fit is important to us, you will have a final meeting with Phil , one of our HOLY Founders. This gives both you and us the opportunity for a final check.
  5. Job offer and decision: If everything goes well, you will receive an offer and we are ready to embark you this journey together with you!
